At Hannah-Marie Dance Academy, we create opportunities for dancers to grow, perform, compete and achieve their dreams. From prestigious stages and international competitions to scholarships and leading dance schools, our students are encouraged to reach their potential, build confidence and make memories along the way.

Global Dance Open Finals
Our dancers proudly qualified all of our group routines at the Global Dance Open qualifiers, earning invitations to compete at the prestigious World Finals in Spain. Competing in Lyrical, Jazz, Showdance and Acro alongside dancers from 37 countries, our teams returned home as Silver and Bronze medalists!
We were also incredibly proud of our three soloists, who all placed in the Top 8, with each being one of the youngest dancers in their categories. An unforgettable experience that challenged our dancers, built confidence and allowed them to perform alongside some of the world’s most talented young dancers.
Dance World Cup
Since 2019, Hannah-Marie Dance Academy has proudly qualifed for DWC, one of the world’s leading dance competitions.
Our dancers have achieved outstanding results, including Vice World Champion soloist & group titles,
Across the years, 12 of our students have qualified as soloists for the Finals, competing across the Mini, Children’s and Junior age divisions. The Dance World Cup provides the opportunity to perform on an international stage, being inspried and pushing themselves to be better dancers at every opportunity,
ISTD Exams
We are very proud of our 100% pass rate, with 95% of our dancers achieving Distinctions across our ISTD examinations. Students can take annual examinations in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Modern and Tap, developing strong technical foundations alongside their confidence and performance skills.
Our dancers have achieved outstanding results, including 90/100 and 94/100, with Lily Gerred holding our academy record of an incredible 96/100.
Annual Dance Shows
Every year, our dancers have the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre setting, showcasing their hard work, progress and achievements from across the year. From our youngest dancers stepping onto the stage at just 2 years old, to our advanced students gaining valuable performance experience for their future, our shows are a wonderful way to develop confidence, stage presence and a real love of performing.
dance competitions
Our dancers take part in leading competitions across the UK, consistently achieving high placings while delivering performances full of precision, artistry and energy. Highlights include Destination Dance Best in Show and Title Winners, Showdance Finalists, Starpower Title Winners, Hotshots and Prestige awards, alongside Choreography Awards for solos and groups and a Perfect Score Jazz Solo.
We also compete at Can You Dance, reaching the Finals and performing alongside some of the UK’s leading studios, while our dancers perform on the MOVE IT Mainstage each year. From soloists developing confidence and individuality to groups learning to dance with unity and precision, competitions provide invaluable performance experience and help our dancers grow.
Dance College Students
We are passionate about preparing dancers for their next chapter, whether that means further training, performing or pursuing a professional career. Our students have achieved a 100% success rate in gaining places at leading dance institutions, including Tring Park, Laine Theatre Arts, Wilkes Academy and Bird College, with scholarships awarded along the way.
Our training has helped dancers develop the technique, confidence and audition skills needed to progress, with fantastic feedback from colleges on their standard and ability. Graduates have gone on to perform at Disneyland Paris, the London Palladium, for touring artists and internationally for Team England at the USA Dance Finals. Students who have chosen the univierity route have become captains of strong dance teams and leading them to victory.
