
Hannah-Marie is qualified with the ISTD. Training with excellent teachers & examiners over 4 years. Learning safe dance practice within this time and help encourage students for constant improvement, whilst understanding the safety in dance instruction. Hannah-Marie worked on the set syllabus work for all grades in Ballet Modern & Tap. Gaining 92% in some of her exams. She learnt how to create great choreography for different age groups, along with how to improve strength and flexibility and creating artistic dancers. Hannah-Marie loves to pass on her love for dance and technique to all of her students, to prepare them for exams and performances.

Hannah-Marie is Certified in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum. She studied the course to learn different skills, exercises and drills to enhance students dance ability. Learning the spotting methods and build ups of teaching of the basics: bridges, splits & handstands. To advanced tumbles including handsprings & ariels. Hannah-Marie has also worked along with local British Gymnastics clubs & Rhythmic coaches to build her ability for this high standard of training.

Hannah-Marie is qualified as an official Progressing Ballet Technique coach. A programme that helps in training muscle memory in dancers, to help them to achieve their best in ballet training. The foundation to build a strong technical dancer in all genres.

Elite Training Programme.
Hannah-Marie Dance Academy offers an Elite training programme. For those who love dance that little bit more or would like to build a career for themselves within the industry. As a dancer it is vital to be versatile in all genres of dance, as well as having experience or a strong skill in singing & acting too. This is why we offer a wide range of sessions so we can give all students the best opportunity possible with many classes. We offer examinations with the ISTD throughout the year. A yearly show for everyone to have the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre. We also have 1-2 workshops per term where we bring in industry professionals for students to learn from a range of teachers.
Soon to be adding singing & acting assessments. Private lessons are also available to be booked on a regular basis, in all genres.
Information & suggested hours are below for different age groups, with the opportunity to audition for our Elite Competitive team.

MINI DANCERS:
Between the age of 5 - 9 years.
A beginner age group who may just love coming to their classes every week.
Ready and willing to learn new things and work hard.
Offering: ISTD Classical ballet, ISTD tap, Acrobatics, Lyrical Technique & Jazz Technique classes.
Private singing & acting on request.
To reach a high standard ready to be an elite dancer as they grow...
We would suggest taking 3-5 hours worth of classes per week, with a commitment to practicing at home for a couple of hours.
A guidance to what your child should be working on at home can be offered, with a older dancer as a mentor.
Days of dance: Monday, Tuesday & Saturday.

JUNIOR DANCER:
Between the age of 10 - 13.
An age group with some experience, who want to build up from our mini programme or move to our dance school.
For this age group classes offered are: ISTD Classical Ballet, Free Classical Ballet, Pre Pointe & Pointe, ISTD Modern,
ISTD tap, Free Tap, Jazz Technique, Acrobatics / Tumbles / Contortion, Lyrical, Contemporary, Commercial, Acting & Singing.
Guest industry teacher every other month & termly workshops.
This age group will start to build on their technique to a higher standard and focus on developing their dance in all styles.
Classes will be challenging yet age appropriate.
This group has the option to attend between 3 - 4 days per week depending on
how many genres they want to learn & hours they want to do.
Between Monday - Thursday & Saturdays.
Up to 14 hours of training PW.

INTERMEDIATE - SENIOR DANCER:
Between the age of 14 - 19
A level of dance working towards dance college applications & building to an advanced level of dance.
Classes for this age group are the similar to the Junior dancer programme.
With the same classes on offer, however with added Progressing ballet Technique sessions and Major levels for examinations.
These classes are developed to nurture a dancer in all genres to be a confident and strong dancer & performer.
The will learn challenging combinations & choreography on a weekly basis.
Guest industry teacher once a month & termly workshops.
Hours suggested are to attend Monday - Wednesday & Saturdays.
Up to 14 hrs per week of training on offer.
Private lessons suggested for those in dance, singing & acting to help with college applications.
